If you love classics, hot wheels or performance cars, the Cool Classics & Hot Wheels Car Show is one event you can’t miss!
Held at Logan River Parklands in Beenleigh on Sunday 10th of September from 9am to 3pm, the show will see over 40 car clubs come together to display the biggest range of classic cars you’ve ever seen.
The event has been planned by The Mustang Owners Club of Australia (MOCA). It originally started out in Rocklea as a Mustangs-only car show, but with the committee’s passion to make things bigger and better and a new location, it has expanded to include other classics and activities the whole family can enjoy.
This year’s family friendly event is set to attract around 300 classic cars and over 1000 spectators from around Queensland and Interstate.
If you’re a Mustang fan, this is the first-time old and new Mustangs will come together! There will be range of classics from 1964 to the latest models on display throughout the day.
Q Ford will have a selection of new Ford Mustangs for spectators to view and their reps will be there to show interested parties their many attributes. Mustang Motorsports from Melbourne will be coming up too, with a couple of high performance mustangs on display.
But it’s not all about the Mustangs, with all classic cars welcome and a huge range on display for car lovers of different makes and models.
There will also be a range of trade stalls to browse, live music, a 60s rock ‘n’ roll dance troupe, dress competitions, a petting zoo and face painting for the kids and food and drinks available throughout the day, as well as raffles to be won and prizes and trophies for best car categories.
Volunteers from the police, ambulance, fire services and emergency services, as well as the SES will give their time, as well as display some classic vehicles on the day; including a performance police car and motorbike, an old ambulance vehicle and fire truck.
Sponsored by Logan City Council, the show is set to be an inaugural event for the South Side and MOCA QLD are proud to support Autism Queensland with funding from this event.
